Each word is then given a multiplier bonus based on the length of the word played. A 3 letter words is worth 3 times the letter values shown, a 4 letter word is worth 4 times the letter values shown, etc. A penalty may be applied for playing invalid letters or words (this option is configurable by your sysop). If the penalty option is selected by your SysOp, the penalty is 10 times the number of letters contained in the word played, ie KAT would be a 30 point penalty. War of the Words
